Sebastien and Lydia went from Belmont and Raphael from Raleigh. Sebastien and Lydia are back in classes and Raphael is having his wisdom teeth pulled, so I don't have any comments from them, but I found this video on my camera and wanted to share.

Here is Raphael, his friend Monica and her dad.

I don't know where the video came from as Raphael sat in the front during the NC mass, but he may have taken it during a different mass.
If you think that was a lot of people you should have seen the national mass the night before! There were people standing shoulder to shoulder from the front of the basilica all the way out the doors and in all the side chapels!! Not to mention the crypt of the basilica was packed as well (that is where I was). The music was also incredible! There was an large professional choir to sing with the massive organ that shook the walls when it played. There where many wonderful pieces played including Praeludium und Puga by Bach, Laudibus in Sanctis by William Byrd, Beati Quorum Via by Charles Villiers Stanford, O Sacrum Convivium by Thomas Tallis,Son of Life by Handle and Nun Danket Alle Gott by Sigfrid Karg-Elert, not to mention all the traditional songs such as the Kyrie and the psalm and the processionals and communion songs. There were Cardinals, Bishops, Priests, Monks and Seminarians. The possession took half an hour there where so many of them! The mass was celebrated by the Cardinal Justin Rigali the archbishop of Philadelphia. It looked like a mass you might expect to see in Rome. All in all it was quite awe inspiring!
