Tenderness, Sweetness

Now, how about a chocolate cake with cherries on top?

Yes!

A Delightful Surprise!

Matthias found some baby chicks yesterday! The hen had been sitting without our knowledge.

We put them in the chicken tractor to protect them from predators, something we learned the hard way last year. Hawks do have sharp eyes.

Gratitude

Like Lydia, I have decided to join Ann's Gratitude Community.

My heart is overflowing with gratitude at the life God has given me. To begin listing ten things I am grateful for every Monday, is a small way to thank Him, the giver of every good gift. It is also a good way to bring my focus back when life wants to hide these blessings under dark clouds.

My list is random. No order, just spontaneous thankfulness.

~ Muncles (monkey uncles) who are gentle and tender with their nephew and nieces.

~Roses, and more roses

~The smell of horses

~The gift of Eucharist

~So, so sweet grandchildren

~Yarn...soft cotton, fuzzy squishy wool, delicate pastels, earthy shades, vibrant jewel colors...beautiful yarn and shinny, clicking wooden needles

~Friendship

~gardens, little boys digging, pushing wheelbarrows, dirty faces, bright eyes

~candid smiles

~The Easter Season, a time of hope and joy

Alleluia!

He is Risen!

Behold, He makes all things new!

Kelly, Xavier's wife, was baptized and received into full communion with the Catholic Church! Welcome dear daughter! Shannon, who came into the Church last year, was her sponsor.

Aren't they beautiful!

Congratulations dear Kelly!

Joyeux 40e Anniversaire Xavier !
