Today is the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. We have always loved to celebrating this Marian feast. Lydia posted some
older pictures on her
blog that made me smile. A younger Felix was sweet enough to play as Bernadette, something he wouldn't agree to do anymore. It is fun to think that with a growing number of granddaughters we will have plenty of girls to play female parts in the future. By the way, I am happy to announce that Gabriel and Shannon are expecting a little girl, Ava Rose, due to make her appearance in May.
In the morning the children watched the movie
Bernadette. We are saving
a few more for Bernadette's feast day next week.
We had blue jello representing the spring, and a Cocoa Pebbles
grotto for desert.

Laurence and Maddy colored a
picture of Our Lady of Lourdes adding glitter for the halo and some yellow ribbon roses I stitched up for them to put at her feet.

I must admit that I was greatly inspired by Jessica at
Shower of Roses. Her blog is just fabulous!
