Yesterday, Laurence came in the house all excited saying that we had to take a picture of Dominique holding all the little Dominique chicks. Lydia grabed the camera and went to the chicken coop, indeed all five Dominique chicks were sleeping on Dominique's lap. I couldn't resist making a montage with the backgroung music of Greensleeves played by David Nevue. You see when Gabriel Dominique (who is now 24) was just a wee lad he use to serenade the chickens by humming Greensleves to them. He candidly tought that they would give more eggs. Maybe they did!

Wordless Wednesday

Dominiques

Today is going to be another busy day; new chicks, picking strawberries, moving Augustin and Kristie, and confirmation for Felix! One day I'll catch up and give you updates on ALL that has happened in the last three months!

Saturday Night

Lydia often takes over in the evening while I go for a walk. Yes, I know how blessed I am. When I came in last night, I just had this take a picture. What a sweet sight!

Saturday Morning with Laurence

This morning Laurence and I were by ourselves at the house. Lydia, Raphael, and Felix were at a rocket launch, and Michel, Matthias, and Dominique were at a Science Olympiad.

First, Laurence wanted to feed the baby goats. They are so cute. Well not as much as he is!

But wait a minute. What do you want?

A Kiss?

Stop tickling me!

Sorry, I don't have anymore.
I am a big bear, I'm not afraid of anything.

After his chores, we brought out the paint and brushes.

He said he was painting Jesus on the cross.

With blood and water pouring from his side.

After all this hard work, one needs a snack.

Frothing the hot chocolate is hard work too!

I truly enjoyed my time with my little fellow. I think he did too.

Joyeux 40e Anniversaire Xavier !
